I’m not the only one who didn’t go to Allume. My dear friend Dawn got to go, as did many of the West Coast Christian Bloggers, but several other really awesome bloggers didn’t get to go either. Two of which are Sprittibee and Lisa from Chaos Appreciation who are hostessing a fun blog hop for all of us. I attended Relevant the first year and haven’t been able to go back since.
- Sign into this virtual Allume/Relevant HomeFire here with Sprittibee
- then hop over to Lisa’s blog to link up your Relevant/Allume Alumni post from your previous year of attending.
So here I am making my introduction to you…
I’m Lisa from The HomeSpun Life. I write for The Homeschool Post and for the Pix-O-Sphere blog (where I write about blogging and photography).
I live in sunny So Cal with my husband and 4 (homeschooling) children of whom all enjoy living by the beach.
My blog is my home on the net and my philosophy base for my blogging is that when love begins at home, our lives will extend ‘home’ out to the community around us (including the Internet). I want you to feel at home here and my prayer is that my posts sound like a conversation…like we’re sitting together enjoying some coffee over conversations about life.
I live a life of organic leading through the Spirit of God and consider myself to be a spiritual gypsy, because I aim to find God breathing through life in all sorts of ways. We are the best read Bible as we interact with others in our lives outside of our bible studies.
I recently posted about my faith and how I believe we can be the SHINE we want to see in the world. In addition to this, I’ve posted at the Pix-O-sphere blog about why you’ll want to refresh your old articles and I’m offering up my Top 5 Favorite free icon galleries (you’ll love these).
You’ll find me on Twitter @OrganicHSL and on Facebook here.
When you get a chance be sure to swing by Pix-O-Sphere to get a free membership to the only (and leading) family friendly photo source on the Internet. My pictures are there and you can use them for your articles. Feel free to browse through the thousands of photos from all over the world.

Hi Lisa.
I’m excited to find your blog again and to read more about what you are doing. I also spied the West Coast Blogger tab up there. How fun. I’m on the west coast, too.
Hope you have a nice weekend.
Stacy
