Homeschool Diversity Blog Hop

Homeschool Blog Hop

Hosted by:
Sweet Phenomena Relational Living at The HomeSpun Life

Welcome to the Homeschool Blog Hop that celebrates diversity! No matter what style of home education you choose, you are welcome! Tiffany (my co-hostess for this event) from Sweet Phenomena and I began sharing our hearts with one another about including more home (and UN) schoolers into the ‘homeschool’ community out of a deep desire to welcome everyone no matter what their style and no matter what their faith.

When it comes to supporting home education, we’re all in it together no matter where we choose to worship and we both felt it was high time that the door to diversity swing wide open and remain open.

Here’s what YOU can do to help us all get to know one another better:

We’re inviting you to blog about your education style, your favorite field trip places, and ideas you’ll use this year. Won’t you please pass the word along? Feel free to use the graphic and link to this post so we can connect with more of you! The more the merrier!

You can Tweet about this post, share it on Facebook, and even Stumble it to help spread the word, through the Simple Social Media buttons below. We do hope you’ll participate!

Once you have posted about the Blog Hop, come back and share the link to THAT POST in the linky below. (not your main URL)

We’ll leave the linky open for Sept 1-3. We will have a link up at both our blogs for people to link up with, but only need to enter your links at one of our blogs.

You’ll get to link up with 3 links:
Your blog (the URL to your blog post)
Your Twitter
Your Facebook Page

Ready? Get set? HOP IN! (if you choose to display the blog hop list on your blog, more people will be encouraged to hop in. Please be sure you explain what this hop is about and use the community graphic from above. Sure would be great to let them know who the 2 hostesses are too. )

  1. Thanks so much for hosting the Celebrating Diversity Blog Hop! What a great idea … I LOVE the freedom and diversity in homeschooling! Since my kids are grown, I can’t write about our 2011 school year, but I linked to a post on how we homeschooled. And I shared information about the blog hop through Twitter and the Living Montessori Now Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/LivingMontessoriNow.

  2. The code for the button got sucked into Blogger’s ether. So I swiped the graphic for my post and tacked a link to this post on the end of my post.

  3. What exactly truly moved u to compose “Homeschool Diversity Blog
Hop”? I personallyseriously liked it! Regards ,Brigida

  4. I will probably never homeschool my children because I think they will receive more education through a certified teacher than what I could teach them and I also don’t have the time. I really do admire mothers/parents who homeschool their children because it must not always be easy. I am sure it is a wonderful experience for you to be able to have the time to provide a safe educational experience for your children. They also have the convenience of learning from home and being surrounded by the one person or persons they are most comfortable with.
