Thank you, Jill. That second photo is a humble apartment home in a very bad part of town. The fact that this home is surrounded by barbed wire is an indicator of the type of neighborhood the person lives in. What I thought was interesting about this particular home was that it’s porch and stairs were filled with life..the flowers. They are all neatly lined up and growing amidst the criminal environment. Even the sidewalks were plastered with graffiti. There’s nothing like going for a photo walk in a neighborhood like this.
and yes, that tree is amazing. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It’s an amazing tree. The City of Orange in California has some of the best trees I’v e seen in Southern California.
